When Lena from lena.naeht (unpaid ad) told me she needed photos of her latest self sewn item I didn’t hesitate to agree to another spontaneous photoshoot. Especially since I have been wanting to shoot at this location for about 6 months now. How I found this location? I pass by it every tuesday and every time I’m thinking to myself “I need to have a photoshoot here". So when Lena showed me the pair of leggings she sewed I knew I had to take the photos here. Just like our other photoshoots from the past, this one was also rather spontaneous. I think about 30 mins before she had to catch her bus I asked her for another outfit to bring with her. (Photos will follow soon.)
So I packed my stuff and we met at a bus stop. According to the weather forecast we would only have a small time frame of no rain because during that day it was already pretty rainy. But we know from a previous photoshoot (Arcade) that we can get pretty cool photos in under 30 minutes haha. While we had a little over an hour with no rain, we decided to go to three locations that are all nearby. This one in front of the baby blue painted front was the first location.
What you don’t see: Me standing in the middle of a somewhat busy street, cars parked everywhere, a bike chained up on a light pole behind us, windows and houses everywhere, me thinking to myself: hopefully no one will take a look out their window and complain that we are taking photos right in front of their home.
But see for yourself and let me know how you like this series! - Chantal
